Re-orged Creative Dept, switched to internal agency model, revamped processes, shipped rebrand.
At Samsara I was given one of the biggest organizational, brand and leadership challenges of my career. As the head of brand design and functional head of brand and creative, I was tasked with leading Samsara’s first ever brand campaign, while at the same time architecting a re-brand and also solving a problematic org chart and reporting structure. I re-orged the creative department into an internal agency model, founding the Samsara Brand Creative Studio, composed of designers, writers, editors and videographers. I roadmapped and drove new key hires to round out the right team. Revamped cross-functional collaboration processes, brought a clarity and education-forward approach to the brand guideline and brand platform documents and created the company’s first ever Brand Strategy Core Team.
